Abstract

Abstract

A physical model of the detonation wave propagation process in the detonation combustion chamber was developed on the x-t diagram,and one-dimensional numerical simulation of the unsteady flow in a pulse detonation engine was conducted by applying characteristic method.With that an engine performance calculation method was deduced.The PDE performance calculation result shows that characteristic method is feasible and accurate.
