Experimental Investigation on Kerosene/Air Pneumatic Valve Pulse detonation Engine

In order to investigate detonation wave charcteristics of kerosene/air pneumatic valve pulse detonation engine,a complete set of test facility was established.A lot of multi-cycle detonation experiments were carried out using a detonation tube with 100 mm inner diameter and 2000mm length,filling with heated liquid kerosene and air as detonable mixture.The detonation wave characteristics of kerosene and low polluted air as detonable mixture were investigated.This investigation is of importance to study kerosene and heavy polluted air as detonable mixture in depth and to provide theoretical and practical basis for the development of PDE's engineering application.
