Computational Analysis of the HP Turbine Nozzle Guide Vane Internal Flow Characteristics

  • The temperature distribution of the nozzle guide vanes are affected greatly by the flow and heat transfer of the internal cooling passages.It is important to research the flow and heat transfer inside the nozzle guide vanes.Calculations based on network methods and experiments were carried out to investigate the complex air-cooled nozzle guide vanes internal flow and heat transfer characteristics.The results show that the mass flow,pressure and temperature distribution of the internal cooling passage can be simulated perfectly,and the calculated results are in good agreement with the experimental ones.
