Numerical Simulation of Three-Dimensional Flows in a Ramjet Combustor

  • The incompressible flow in a ramjet combustion chamber with a V flame stabilizer was numerically simulated.It was aimed at determining the flow field in the combustor through numerical simulation and give help to experiments.The calculation was performed in Cartesian co-ordinates.The finite volume method was employed to solve the N-S equations.The SIMPLE algorithm was used for the pressure-velocity coupling.The standard two equations model,the EDM model,and the P-1 model were employed as the computational models.The feature of the field was discussed;especially the effects on the flow field by the variation of different factors were discussed.The results show that the variation of different factors has important influence on flow field.
