It is difficult to generate successfully multi-cycle liquid fuel detonation at ambient pressure and temperature conditiions.Using disturber is the simple and efficient way to promote detonation.In this paper,the experimental investigation was conducted at ambient pressure and temperature in the detonation tube(length of 2000mm and inner diameter of 40 mm) to acquire the relationship between the combustion wave pressure,flame velocity and structure parameters of the disturber,including number of disturber pieces(6~14),space(20~80 mm) and starting position(80~200 mm).The experimental results show:(1) it is helpful to promote detonation wave,while adopting more disturber pieces,farther space between disturber pieces and farther starting position of disturber;(2) the combustion wave pressure and the flame velocity will keep constant if the detonation wave is produced in the tube(maximal pressure>1.4 MPa and flame velocity>1 000 m/s).
