Exponent Extrapolation Method of Aero-Engine Turbomahinery Low State Characteristics

  • The exponential model that could extrapolate the Aero-engine turbomachinery low state characteristics was introduced.This model takes into account the influence of air compressibility.Applying the theory of similarity and considering the characteristics of aero-engine component performance,two exponent values can be obtained,and then the components low state characteristics can be deduced.The results show that the accuracy of this method is higher than that of numerical simulation.It is useful for the research of engine starting,especially for solving the start-up problem in plateau.
