Optimization Methodology of PI Controller Parameters for Aeroengines Based on Genetic Algorithm

  • Based on the mathematical model of aeroengine,an optimization methodology of the PI controller parameters with Genetic Algorithm(GA)was developed.This optimization methodology is a global optimization and has nothing to do with initial values.The fitting function used was based on the weighting combination of the system dynamic and steady state performance.The PI controller parameters of an aeroengine for both single-input single-output and two-input two-output were optimized with GA.The simulation results indicate that the optimization methodology of the aeroengine PI controller parameters developed in this paper is very effective.
