  • The profile design is one of the key tasks in the design of turbomachinery.Visualized design of the profile was propitious to realize the local blade optimum directly and efficiently.Based on Bezier theory,here a visualized software using Open GL API as graphic development tool was developed for 2D blade profile optimization.The comparison between the numerical results of pre-design and post-design shows that the stagnation pressure loss coefficient of modified airfoil is significantly decreased.It is indicated that the software can be effectively applied to turbomachinery design.
