Study on Comprehensive Fault Injector for BIT Verification of the FADEC System

  • In order to verify the BIT(Built-In-Test)ability of the EEC(Electronic Engine Controller),the design idea of a kind of comprehensive fault injector was proposed in this paper.The fault injector was based on ARM processor,and injected faults to digital and analog electronic nodes by back-driving and voltage summing technique respectively.According to the electronic characteristics of the sensors and actuators of a FADEC(Full Authority Digital Electronic Control) system,the realistic simulation interface circuits were designed to make a FADEC running system with an EEC.Fault injecting experiments to a principium EEC swatch show that the fault injector is a viable tool for BIT verification.
