Vibration performance of contact system of labyrinth assembly

  • The analysis of contact system vibration is complex due to its non-linearity and chaotic behaviors in the process.This paper formulates the equivalent linear model of labyrinth assembly by introducing local contact rigidity and using vibration mechanical theory.The vibration performance of contact system of some types of labyrinth assembly is simulated with variable damper size,circumferential numbers and size of interference fit by using FEM software.The simulation results confirmed the validity of the proposed simplified model and relevant theory analysis.
