Numerical simulation for impingement-counterflow convection-film cooling of a combustor wall

  • Fluid/solid conjugated heat transfer numerical simulation was conducted to study impingement-counterflow convection-film cooling by using the commercial codes FLUENT.The flow fields of convection passage and film forming region,and temperature distributions of fluid and solid wall were obtained and analyzed.The numerical study aims at obtaining a calculation method of flame tube wall temperature.The numerical results showed that the agreement with the experimental data was fairly good.Analyses indicated the fluid/solid conjugated heat transfer numerical simulation is a feasible way to obtain the wall temperature of impingement-counterflow convection-film cooling.
