Multidisciplinary design optimization for aerodynamics/structural dynamics of tilt rotor blade

  • With multidisciplinary design optimization method,an aerodynamic model of tilt rotor blade was set up based upon vortex theory.The structural dynamic characters were analyzed by using software such as CATIA,ANSYS and ADAMS.The aerodynamic model and structural dynamic model were integrated via the help of iSIGHT multidisciplinary design optimization software,thus establishing a multidisciplinary design optimization(MDO) system for aerodynamic/structural dynamics of tilt rotor blade.Take XV-15 tilt rotor blade,for example,this approach to multidisciplinary design optimization of aerodynamic/structural dynamics of tilt rotor blade was feasible and efficient.
