Kriging model-based multidisciplinary design optimization for turbine blade

  • It presented a Kriging model-based multidisciplinary design optimization(MDO) framework for turbine blade.The approximation model,Kriging model,was reviewed and discussed systematically.Interdisciplinary coupling was considered by using loosely-coupled method.Based on multidisciplinary coupling analysis,the multidisciplinary feasible(MDF) method and Kriging model-based MDO method were founded respectively and compared subsequently.The results of optimizing a true blade show that the latter method can converge to the optimum fast and no precision lost obviously.And the overall blade performance improved remarkably demonstrates the efficiency and applicability of the proposed MDO framework.
