Numerical analysis of combustion performance of EBMC flame holder

In order to verify the combustion performance of EBMC flame holder in wider operating range, numerical simulation of the combustion process was carried out.The influence of the jet velocity, jet equivalence ratio and the approach velocity on combustion efficiency was analyzed, meanwhile the simulated results were compared with combustion performance of common V-shaped stabilizer, showing the influence of above-specified factors on the combustion performance of flame holder.On a comparative basis, the results show that the influence of such variables on combustion performance corresponds almost to earlier experimental results in narrower operating range, despite of some differences in some aspects.
