Experimental research on impact damage and residual tensile strength of composite laminates

  • T300/BMP316 is a promising composite on aeronautic and aerospace structures.The experimental research was performed on impact damage and residual tensile strength of T300/BMP316 composite laminates with different layer parameters.The results show that, layer parameters have effect on long-axis direction of impact damage figure, rather than the impact damage area.The residual tensile strength of laminates is not directly related to the impact damage area.
