Numerical simulation of the start-up process of augmented turbofan engines

  • An approximation method for simulating the low speed,low flow characteristics of axial flow fan,high-pressure compressors and high-/low-pressure turbines were presented,based on their high-speed characteristic maps and design point parameters of the engine.With the component matching technology of turbofan engines,a calculation model and corresponding algorithm for the start-up process of a certain turbofan engine was set up,thereby providing rational simulation results for the start-up process of engine.
