Blade-root vibration monitoring method for blade vibration stress monitoring and its implementation techniques

  • This paper puts forward a method for monitoring aero-propeller blade vibration stress-the blade-root vibration monitoring method.We can obtain the blade root vibration excitation by monitoring propeller vibration and establish a transfer matrix model for blade vibration calculation,and then calculate the vibratory response and stress of the blade.In this way the blade vibration stress monitoring can be realized.The blade root vibration parameters may be acquired by direct measurement or by calculating with the measured vibration at the bearing case of the propeller rotator.Finally,this method is verified by checking the calculated results against the measured results in flight test.The results show that the blade root vibration monitoring method is simple and feasible in engineering applications.
