Modeling of low-cycle and creep fatigue life for DZ125 smooth specimens and small-hole components

  • Alow cycle fatigue and creep life prediction model of DZ125 was established according to the fatigue and creep experimental life data of directionally solidified DZ125 smooth specimens.This model also considered the influences of crystal direction,average stress,strain range,strain ratio and the greatest stress on the life.Then,the relationship of low-cycle fatigue and creep life between smooth specimens and small-hole components was discussed,and a method was developed to predict the low-cycle fatigue and creep life of DZ125 small-hole components from that of directionally solidified DZ125 smooth specimens.The results show that,this model can predict comparatively the low cycle fatigue and creep life,indicating that the error of life prediction results are about two times of dispersion band.
