Experiments on damage failure test of single bolted joints in composite laminates

  • The static-load mechanical properties and fatigue characteristics of 104 specimens were tested on single bolted joints in composite laminates,of which including nine sizes,three types of lay orientations and two types of torques.Dye-Enhanced X-Radiography technique was used to conduct nondestructive test of the progressive damage process of specimens during static and fatigue loadings.The real damage types and failure rules of single bolted joints in composite laminates were also discussed.
