Fuel deposit experiment on main fuel system of modern military jet engine

  • The relationship between fuel deposit and temperature of Chinese jet fuel RP-3 was measured under crucial thermal condition using weighting method.The results show that,the deposit rate is below that of American jet fuel JP-4,JP-5,Jet-A,but higher than Jet-8.The various degrees of deposit occurred on the filter and the tangential channel of the nozzle swirler.
