Spectrum analysis of the characteristic of light emission from dielectric barrier discharge plasmas

  • The effects of high voltage,frequency,pressure and injection of gases on plasma generation were investigated by measuring the spectra of the plasma.It is found that the relation between light intensity of plasma and the supplied voltage is linear whereas the effect of frequency is not distinct.The variation of light intensity in chord wise direction accords with Gauss function.In lower pressure the light intensity of plasma is enhanced and injection of helium could have the same effect.These results have established necessary basis for further experiments and numerical simulations.
