Effect of relative space between mixing duct exits on the flow temperature

  • Anumerical simulation and analysis of infrared radiation field of the integrative infrared suppressor model was performed to investigate the effects of space between the model exit and curved mixing duct exit,meanwhile the temperature field of the model exit was also obtained by numerical simulation.The results show that the mixing flow temperature of the model exit will decrease 42% by extending the distances between exits,because mixing hot exhaust with rotor downwash is enhanced greatly.At the same time,the infrared radiant intensity is increased slightly between3~5μm and 8~14μm.
