External heat transfer predictions of turbine cascades

  • Three-dimensional Reynolds averaged Navier-Stokes(N-S) equations with Shear Stress Transport(SST) turbulence model were used to predict external heat transfer coefficients(EHTC) of turbine cascades.Atransition model was adopted to improve the accuracy.MARK-Ⅱ,VKIhigh pressure turbine stator cascade and VKIhigh pressure turbine rotor cascade were calculated.The computational results were compared with the experimental data,showing that the numerical method developed could effectively improve accuracy of external heat transfer prediction.
