Efficient reformulation of3-D high-fidelity generalized method of cells

  • The efficient reformulation of 3-Dhigh-fidelity generalized method of cells had been put forward.The model was presented based on the hypothesis of periodicity in composite microstructure.In this approach,surface-averaged quantities were the primary variables which replaced the coefficient of the displacement after the mechanical equations were analyzed and answered in microscopic elements.This reduced the number of equations involved and eliminate the concept of generic cells.Numerical results based on the model agrees well with available results from experiments and theoretical analysis.
