Research on sliding bearings and rotor system stability

  • Based on the load balance equations of sliding bearing fluid-solid coupling motion,the mechanism of instability in bearing-rotor system was presented.According to the coupling relationship between whirl frequency and nonlinear coupling vibration frequency,a new technology was put forward to perform rotor-bearings system frequency coupling modulation.Through experiments of oil whirl,sub-harmonic resonance and other self-excited vibration,a criterion for rotor-bearing stability and nonlinear dynamics characteristics were presented.Moreover,relevant theoretical and experimental references were provided to achieve effective control of rotor-bearing nonlinear vibration.
