Torsional vibration analysis of helicopter power transmission system by the multi-shaft transfer matrix method

  • The multi-shaft transfer matrix method(TMM) with differential gear mesh and the torsional vibration characteristics of the helicopter power system have been investigated.Firstly,the analytical model for the helicopter power system was built by the transfer matrix method.Next,the 'mesh transfer matrix' for the two-shaft and three-shaft gear pair,and the planetary gear pair were established using transfer matrix method.Then the torsional vibration characteristics of the helicopter power transmission system were obtained using the multi-shaft transfer matrix method.Lastly,the natural frequency and vibration mode properties was discussed
