This paper analyzed how to improve the fuel metering accuracy for the micro turbine engine(MTE).According to the working mechanism of the dynamoelectric gear pump,the fuel flow delivered by the pump is dependent on the amplitude of the supply voltage,the duty cycle of the supply voltage and the output pressure of the pump.When the demanded quantity of the fuel flow is given,the duty cycle of the supply voltage can be calculated from the amplitude of the supply voltage and the output pressure,which is validated by a series of calibration experiments.Comparing with the formal metering method,without consideration of the output pressure,this novel method can improve the metering accuracy distinctly,and will be helpful for the MTE starting process controlling.
