The parameterized teeth model was established based on the involute and tooth root transitional curve equations with the defined interval of independent variables,and the force was loaded at the highest point of single pair meshing teeth according to the handbook.A two dimensional finite element parameterized analysis method about the tooth bending stress was presented.Through examples,the results of finite element method are in good agreement with those of the actual designing method,proving the accuracy of the model modified factor of the latter.But the stress from the former method is appreciably bigger when the tip rounding radius of generating rack is smaller or the pressure angle of tooth is bigger.The actual designing method only focuses on the tensile stress which is proved smaller than the compressive bending stress.The maximum tensile bending stress decreases with the increase of the tip rounding of the generating rack,the modification coefficient and the pressure angle.The effect of the pressure angle and the tip rounding is more prominent,while the teeth number has only slight effect on the bending stress.
