Analysis of the combustion and flow field characteristics of advanced vortex combustor

  • In this paper,numerical simulation was carried out to study the mechanism of stabilitating flame and reduce the polutant exhaust and the influences of the major parameters on combustion stability,combustion efficiency and emissins of advanced vortex combustor(AVC).The flow resistance,trapped vortex configuration and stability,combustion efficiency of AVC were influenced by the position,angle and equivalence ratio of airflow jet in the cavity between fore-body and after-body.The position of airflow jet in the cavity had most effect on that.
