Wake-boundary layer interaction on low pressure turbine cascade blades

  • The wake-boundary layer interaction had been investigated numerically and experimentally,and a periodicity moving bar wake had been used to imitate the upstream wake.The study shows that the wake has a significant influence on the boundary layer of cascade: the transition on suction surface has taken place in advance;the separation has been remarkably suppressed;the load of low-pressure turbine cascade has been increased obviously.
