Convective heat transfer simulation in holes of inclined multihole wall film cooling

  • Characteristics of convective heat transfer in holes of inclined multihole wall were investigated numerically by two different ways.One was focused on the purely aerothermal effects of the cooling flow,and the other one on the conjugate heat transfer.The results reveal that the conjugate heat transfer simulation is more accurate in reflecting convective heat transfer in holes.The results also show that the Nusselt number at the entrance of the holes is the maximum,and the influence of the entrance on the local convective heat transfer is variable with the Renolds number.
