Abstract

Abstract

A new type of fuel baffle-type injector was developed.With the injector spraying in cross flow,Malvern laser particle analyzer was used to measure the spray characteristic parameters.The initial atomization process and special spray feature were analyzed.Furthermore,the paper made a primitive study of the influences of air velocity,fuel injection pressure and injector structure design sizes on the atomizing characteristics.The results are of significance to the application and numerical calculus of this injector.
