Effect of swept structure on ramp injectors in supersonic combustion

  • To improve the efficiency of supersonic combustion and reduce combustor length,two structures of ramp injectors were designed to increase the mixture of fuel and air in supersonic flow.The experiments of schlieren,oil flow and flame transfer were conducted for the ramps.By combining the experiment results and the numerical simulation,we analyzed the influence of swept angle in the supersonic mixing course,and found that the swept ramp could facilitate the formation of stream eddies and accelerate the lifting of fuel jet flow,which would not only enhance the mixture but also stabilize the flame.
