Several jet array impingement experimental models with different holes spacing were designed to investigate the effects of impinging jet Reynolds number and geometry parameters on the local heat transfer enhancement by using the transient Infrared thermography method. The results show that:(1)the heat transfer coefficient increases with the increasing of impinging jet Reynolds number,(2)the heat transfer enhancement becomes weaken when the jet holes spacing or jet impinging distance increase,and(3) in the case of jet holes spacing ratio arranged from 3 to 5,the heat transfer enhancement for inline jet array is higher than that of staggered jet array, but in the case of jet holes spacing ratio is 2,the heat transfer enhancement for the inline jet array is higher in the front jet rows but lower in the rear jet rows compared with staggered jet array.
