Gao-Yong turbulence model was applied to simulate the influence of blowing jet on the flow separation control of the airfoil surface.The results show that Gao-Yong turbulence model can not only successfully simulate the location of separation and the aerodynamic force coefficients,but also effectively simulate the blowing effect of flow separation control.Other than increasing lift by inhibiting flow separation vortex on the airfoil surface,the blowing jet can also induce much higher lift through the "package effect" for external flow,especially at the condition of large angle of attack.With the increase of blowing jet momentum coefficient,the lift coefficient of the airfoil increases under the same angle of attack.In addition,the angle of the blowing jet has important influence on "package effect".And the positive angle of the blowing jet is more favorable to the lift coefficients than zero and negative angle.
