Test of the characteristics of axial flow compressor with splitter

Technologies of axial flow compressor with splitter and present status of researches on these technologies were introduced.The process of applying splitter blade to the turboshaft engine was explained.Based on component test and engine test on the engine test bed, the efficiency and the improvement of aeroengine performance installed with axial flow compressor with splitter were analyzed.The test result shows that the flow increases by 7.27%, the power increases by 20.79% and the specific fuel consumption(SFC) decreases by 2.67%.The technologies have broad prospects for application on aeroengine.
