This paper discussed the dual engine control strategy for an unmanned helicopter. The parallel control for two engines to keep their output power consistent was presented, and the method of improving the stability of the helicopter rotor speed was discussed by using the higher rotation speed of two engines instead of the helicopter rotor speed as feedback signal.Furthermore, the test measurement and computation methods of the feed-forward compensation control quantity of collective and flight speed were given, showing two major factors affecting the stability of helicopter rotor speed. On this basis, two engines’ cylinder temperature difference was used to differentially compensate the two engine control quantity,so that the two engines output power and the driven system was further improved, and the helicopter torsion was enormously reduced. Finally, its feasibility and effectiveness were verified through hitching tests on the ground and flight tests.
