Calculation of one-dimensional radiative heat transfer with zonal model in combustor

  • A new kind of zonal model for calculating the combustor wall temperature with strict mechanism and high precision was developed in this paper.The Lefebvre model and zonal model were adopted to calculate the radiative heat transfer of a cylindrical combustor without cooling.The distribution of radiative heat flux density and wall temperature was obtained respectively by comparing and analyzing the two different methods.The results show that,there are some shortages for Lefebvre model because gas is partitioned as 1-D directional radiation causing the radiative heat flux density of combustor front and back walls smaller,while the radiative heat flux density distribution tends to be more reasonable with zonal model.
