  • Design of turbine blades is a typical multi-disciplinary issue on aero-dynamic analysis,thermal analysis and structure design optimization,aimed at ensuring the accuracy of the result and the computing efficiency.Approximate models could simplify data management,improve calculation efficiency and ensure the engineering precision by controlling the number and quality of sample.A framework on multi-disciplinary design optimization for turbine blades,which makes use of some professional tools in the areas,is proposed by analyzing the design process and the data transfer relations.By comparing the optimizations using the Kriging model and accurate analysis for a turbine blade,it shows that the result for approximate models is acceptable in engineering and the efficiency is higher.Furthermore,it also shows that the framework is feasible.
