Numerical simulation of intercooler flow path for marine gas turbine

  • With the aid of CFD(computational fluid dynamics)numerical simulation technology,the total pressure loss of the intercooler entire flow path for marine gas turbine was analyzed.The equivalent flow area and equivalent heat transfer methods were used in the numerical simulation,the problem of the modeling entire intercooler flow path was solved effectively.The numerical computation results indicate that the CFD numerical simulation technology can effectively analyze the details of the flow field,helping to improve the intercooler flow path design.The combination of the CFD numerical simulation technology and intercooler design technique can improve the optimal design of the intercooler entire flow path for marine gas turbine.
