Three-dimension turbulence flow field in an annular combustor with two-stage radial swirler was simulated to quantify the prediction accuracy of different turbulent models(standard k-ε model,RNG(renormalization group) k-ε model, algebraic stress model) and the calculation efficiency of different algorithms(SIMPLE(semi-implicit method for pressure-linked equations) and PISO(pressure implicit split-operator)) in the complex flow fields.Body-fitted grid of the flametube used in this study was generated by an elliptical grid generation technique combined with the anchored grid method, and the flow fields near the wall were treated by the standard wall function.Computational results show that,PISO algorithm can be used to obtain an obviously higher efficiency.Simulation results gained from different turbulence models are in agreement with the experimental data.Among these turbulence models, the algebraic stress model is likely to offer better prediction capability for complex turbulent flow field.
