Dynamic response analysis of fluid-structure interaction in liquid-filled pipes of rocket feed system

  • Considering the effect of fluid-structure interaction,the dynamic response study of liquid-filled pipes of rocket feed system was carried out in this paper.To set a model,the pipes were defined in a plane,which could vibrate axially and transversely under the influence by Poisson coupling and junction coupling.Numerical test on pipes between rocket tank and pump was then conducted.The reasonable results regarding frequencies and modes show the necessity of proposed model,as compared with the traditional water hammer model.This study could give a reference to the pipe test and further study on oscillation suppression.
