Design and application of a disturbance rejection rotor speed control method for turbo-shaft engines

  • Turbo-shaft engine's control methodology was mainly studied in this article.Active disturbance rejection control(ADRC) method has been emerging in recent years.A hybrid control structure,i.e.an cascade proportion integration differentiation(PID) combined with torque's ADRC compensation,was proposed to improve the engine's disturbance rejection ability,and keep the formal control structure of the engine unchanged.The control system takes advantage of the excellent strong disturbance compensation property.The control system has better dynamic disturbance rejection ability than traditional system by simulation of helicopter's rapid lifting up and down based on the integrated helicopter/ turbo shaft engine platform.
