Experimental study of wall temperature distribution on annular interstage trapped vortex combustor

  • In order to investigate the validity of the cooling structure and air inlet structure,experimental study of wall temperature distribution on annular trapped vortex combustor was carried out,and the test result was used for computing the structural strength of combustor.The test result shows that the wall temperatures of all test points are lower than the upper limit of materials and the combustor supports long-lasting normal operation.The hot spot temperature of combustor appeared in the lower of fore-wall or in the middle of upper-wall.The wall temperature was greatly influenced by the mainstream air flow rate,cavity air flow rate and oil flow rate,but little influenced by the temperature of the mixing air.
