Reliability assessment of aero-engine based on the reliability growth forecast module

  • Reliability assessment for an aero-engine was made in this paper by the reliability growth projection model and based on the data of bench tests and flight tests.The results of the assessment were compared with evaluated values of traditional mean time between failure(MTBF),showing that the method is reasonable,effective and useful.
