Performance analysis of thin-wall angular contact ball bearings considering the ferrule deformation

  • In order to calculate accurately the load distribution among the rolling elements of flexible supported bearing,the finite element method was used to research the performance of flexible supported thin-wall angular contact ball bearings in this paper.Ferrule bending deformation under load was considered for flexible supported bearings,and the change law of load distribution,life span and stiffness in different conditions was obtained.The results were compared with those obtained by the quasi-dynamic method and the experiment.It is found that the results of finite element method are close to the experimental values as the ferrule deformation and boundary condition are considered.
