Encapsulation,calibration and application of an economical measurement microphone

An economical measurement microphone was encapsulated using a consumptive microphone in this paper,and a calibration rig was designed and validated firstly,and then the amplitude and phase of the microphone was calibrated on this rig.The calibrated microphone was used as measurement microphone on the flow impedance test rig(FITR) in our laboratory,and the measured data were compared with data measured by Bruel & Kjaer(B & K) 4938 microphone.The comparison result shows that the microphone can be used as a measurement microphone when it is calibrated.
