Investigation of aero-engine thrust performance deterioration rules based on fractal theory

  • Considering the complexity of aero-engine and influential factors,a deterioration model for engine thrust degradation was established with De Wijs fractal theory from the perspective of complex system.Aero-engine thrust deterioration rules was analyzed and investigated based on this model.It's found that the thrust deterioration in full afterburning condition is characterized by aging of organism,and can be modeled by the De Wijs fractal curve with fractal dimension of 0.761 to some extent.
