The unsteady 3-D flow fields in a transonic compressor at design point were simulated numerically to study the effect of the bowed and swept rotors on stator surface static pressure fluctuation. The results show that, all three types of bowed or swept rotors, especially the bowed-swept rotor, could weaken the static pressure fluctuation on the top and bottom of stator leading edge compared with the baseline. As a result, the stator surface pressure fluctuation near leading edge area becomes more uniform in radial direction.Expect for the stator leading edge area, the amplitude of pressure fluctuation decreases on the top of pressure and suction surface downstream the bowed and swept rotors, but the effect at mid-span and hub is insignificant.
