Structural optimization of hollow fan blade based on orthogonal experimental design

  • Several structural optimization parameters for the description of the geometric features of a hollow fan blade were determined,then a finite element model was established for the parameterized hollow fan blade.And,a method was developed for automatically updating high-quality finite element grid in hollow fan blade in the iterative process of design optimization.Based on the discrete design parameters already simplified and assumed,the structural design optimization problem for a hollow fan blade based on strength constraint and minimum mass was converted into a multi-objective optimization problem without constraints.Finally,the Pareto optimal solutions were found by numerical orthogonal experimental design method in a several turn.
